“It was my first and last attempt”, Said Deepika Padukone

Deepika Padukone travelled down memory lane on Sunday afternoon and scooped a valuable piece of work from the archives. We know Deepika Padukone is a versatile woman. She is not only a brilliant actress but also a film producer, a badminton player and the founder of LiveLoveLaugh. However, few people were aware that the actress had a poet within her that she expressed when she was 12 years old.

Deepika took to Instagram on Sunday to post a photo of her poem from class 7. She stated that it was her first and final attempt at writing poetry.

” My VERY FIRST AND LAST TRY AT WRITING POETRY! This was in 7th grade. I was 12 years old. ‘I Am, ‘was the title of the poem. The first two words you see were provided to us, and the rest is history!”

Deepika Padukone’s followers flooded the comment section shortly after she uploaded the post. One user commented, “That’s talent, I must say, we struggle with BODMAS at 12.” That is, in fact, the actual truth!

In the meantime, Deepika Padukone is working on several projects, including Pathaan, with Shah Rukh Khan and John Abraham, Fighter, with Hrithik Roshan, Project K, starring Prabhas, and a Hindi adaptation of The Intern, with Amitabh Bachchan.
