Rajkummar has done filming his next feature, Bheed while enjoying the success of his most recent film. It is a social drama directed by Anubhav Sinha. Even though Bheed is yet to release, Rajkummar and Anubhav will be working together again soon.
According to a story published in Mid Day, the actor-director combo would reunite for an anthology set in the aftermath of the pandemic. When Anubhav told Raj about the premise of his short film, it struck a chord with him. Raj, according to the filmmaker, has a personal connection to the film. Anubhav places a high value on casting, and he almost always knows who he wants to play the part from the start. Rajkummar Rao was the most suitable fit for this role.
This anthology produced by Anubhav Sinha will include short films by Sudhir Mishra, Hansal Mehta, and Ketan Mehta, among others. Sudhir Mishra has already announced that Taapsee Pannu and Parambrata Chatterjee would star in his short film. Taapsee expressed her excitement to collaborate with Sudhir Mishra. She also disclosed that the short film is a socio-political drama spanning two generations.
