Dressed in blue jeans and white kurta, the 47-year-old actor reached the wedding venue at Mehmurganj’s Chaurasiya marriage hall post midnight and stayed at the venue for nearly half an hour. The actor hugged his  friend and felicitated the newly weds Rajiv and his bride, Vijayta before posing for media.

"This is the wedding of my friend Ramlakhan Paswan’s son. I have not come here to promote any upcoming serial or movie. I am here to attend the ceremony. I met Ram lakhan during the promotion of 3 Idiots. He came to my house to invite me for the wedding one year ago. I wish the bride and groom the very best. Especially the bride, who may find happiness," announced Khan.

Aamir had met Ram Lakhan, also known as Nathuni when he went to promote ‘3 idiots’ in the town. "Varanasi is my mother’s birthplace. The place is dear to me and I share a special relationship with it," the actor added.
