Mumbai: Crown Princess Victoria, heir apparent to the throne of Sweden, invited actor Aamir Khan for an exclusive dinner with her during her ongoing state visit to India. Princess Victoria is familiar with the actor’s body of work and has been highly appreciative of his film Taare Zameen Par.

On this invitation Khan said, "It is a privilege to receive a special invitation like this."

Princess Victoria, along with Swedish ambassador, met Khan accompanied with his wife Kiran Rao at a city hotel for the dinner. Princess Victoria was keen to know about Khan’s antecedents and his shooting schedules. Khan gifted her antique lithograph (sketches of India during the colonial period) and she gifted him a DVD collection of Ingmar Bergman films.
