Radio Misty partners with Bangla Gaan Utsav

Mumbai: Radio Misty 94.3 FM has joined hands with the Bangla Gaan Utsav committee to organize the festival of Bengali songs in December. The four-day festival will commence from 12 December at Sister Nivedita Auditorium in Siliguri. This is the fourth year of this festival which draws huge crowd from all over North Bengal.

Well-known singers from Kolkata and elsewhere in Bengal will also be performing in the festival in an effort to rekindle a liking for all types of Bengali songs, from Rabindra sangeet to Adhunik (modern) songs.

Radio Misty 94.3 FM chief executive officer Nishant Mittal said, "Bangla Gaan Utsav is the biggest event held in Siliguri. It draws huge crowds from all over the region. It is a proud moment to be associated with this great event. We will erect a live studio at the venue from where shows will be hosted by celebrity radio jocks."

Well known singers like Dhiren Basu, Srabani Sen, Sanat Sinha, Indrani Sen, Indranil Sen, Mrinmoy bhattachrya, Nachiketa, Srikanto Acharya, Subhamita, Radha Bandopadhya and lopamudra have performed at the previous festivals.
