MUMBAI: Aamir Khan who is seen to visit many places within India in the promos of his TV show ‘Satyamev Jayate’, seems to love making friends with locals. One of these friends is Ram Lakhan also known as ‘Nathuni’, who is the rickshaw driver who drove the actor around Varanasi during the promotion of ‘3 idiots’.

Thanks to Nathuni’s knowledge of the city, Khan had been able to locate his maternal grand-mother’s house in Varanasi. Now, years later, Nathuni visited Mumbai to invite his friend Aamir to his son’s wedding.

On Aamir’s agreement the entire family is ecstatic. "We have been told by ‘samdhiji’ that Aamir Khan is coming and we are on top of the world," said Asha, mother of the bride, to the press. Varanasi Superintendent of Police, Santosh Singh has received "reports of Aamir Khan’s arrival" and has ensured that "adequate policemen have been deployed" at the marriage venue.
