Abhishek Bachchan launches Light, Camera and Masala

Mumbai :Abhishek Bachchan at a glittering function held at the newly revamped Metro Adlabs launched ace photographer Sheena Sippy’s, Lights, Camera Masala, a book that gives a detailed account of the Hindi film industry. The book, by well-known critic Naman Ramachandran, is an insider’s look at the glitz, grit and grandeur of Hindi cinema. Sheena Sippy’s photographs capture the grandeur of Bollywood making Lights, Camera Masala a visual extravaganza.


The book published by India Book House was earlier launched in Dubai during the IIFA Awards by Amitabh Bachchan. On this occasion Sheena Sippy, told us, “The book gives everyone a very detailed account of the behind-the-scenes people who are an essential part of the Hindi film industry machinery. It takes the readers through the adventures of filmmaking through its fictitious characters Vijay and Ravi.

The book also carries conversations of the writer, Ramachandran with Bollywood stalwarts like seasoned scriptwriters Salim and Javed, actors Amitabh, Shah Rukh Khan and Aishwarya Rai as well as filmmakers Ramesh Sippy and Karan Johar.”
