ACK & iRemedi launch Amar Chitra Katha on iPhone and iPod

MUMBAI: ACK Media in partnership with iRemedi Corp has launched Amar Chitra Katha, a collection of illustrated classics that re-tell stories about Indian heroes, on iPhone and iPods for the international market.

Amar Chitra Katha comics like Krishna, Buddha, The Gita, Ashoka, Tales of Saibaba, Shakuntala, Panchantantra Tales, Mirabai, Karna and Bheeshma are now available on iRemedi’s Ether Media, which is a media content delivery solution for the iPhone platform.

iRemedi is ACK Media’s technology partner for the iPhone platform. The comics will be available to the iPhone and iPods users through the Apple iTunes store.

iPhone users can log on to the Apple iTunes store and search by Amar Chitra Katha, iRemedi or by title names. Most titles are available for purchase at $1.99 along with free previews to some titles as well.
