Mumbai: Ex-Lintas India chairman and managing director Prem Mehta has joined UTV Software Communications as an independent non-executive director of the company.
Mehta’s experience includes long years on the marketing side with organizations like Unilever and Proctor & Gamble where he led the launch of many products during his tenure. He has been awarded the Hall of Fame by the Advertising Agencies Association of India (AAAI) as well as the Advertising Club, Calcutta.
On the other hand, Future Group CEO Kishore Biyani, who has been a director of UTV Software Communications, has expressed his desire to resign from the board of the company due to pre-occupations and conflict of interest that may arise in future. The company’s board has accepted his resignation.
