MUMBAI: Adlabs Cinemas, part of the Reliance Anil Dhirubhai Ambani Group has opened its second cinema in Meerut. One of the largest cinemas chain in India, Adlabs Cinemas presently has 115 screens spread over 33 properties nationwide.
Adlabs already has one cinema in Meerut since June 2006. The new cinema is one of the properties formerly owned by Rave Entertainment, whose cinemas had been acquired by Adlabs in May 2007.
Adlabs Cinemas, COO, Tushar Dhingra commented, “Meerut is a fast growing city with a huge population of film-lovers who expect the best in the world and it is clear that there’s immense potential in having a second Adlabs cinema in the city. We are very excited about this new property because it is in the centre of the new residential and commercial development hub of Meerut.”
The new Adlabs is in Meerut’s biggest mall, Melange Mall at Pallavpuram and will have three world class widescreen viewing screens with a total seating capacity of 1004 seats, exceptional food and beverage offerings, crystal-clear DTS sound, superior Xenon projection systems and plush seats.
