MUMBAI: From months now the industry has been speculating whether Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan will attend the Cannes Film Festival this year, or not.
Putting all questions to an end, it is confirmed that the new mother will indeed be walking the red carpet at the international festival, like she has done in the past 10 years.
According to the reports, her six-month-old daughter, Aradhya, is also likely to travel with her. However, no confirmation is in yet regarding husband, Abhishek Bachchan.
Corporate communications manager, Snehhal Chitneni of L’Oreal India, confirms the actor’s presence to the press, “Yes, Aishwarya is slated to attend the festival and she has confirmed it too. In fact, this year the actor will have a bigger role to play as the brand ambassador."
