Mumbai: Actor Ajay Devgan’s cousin Ashu Devgan has turned producer with his maiden venture Ek Hum Ek Tum under the banner of Ashu Devgan Movies. He has tied up with Santosh Gupta and Hemant Kumar Spice Vision as the other producers. The film is directed by Sanjay B Saxena whose first film with Ultra called Janini is complete. Meanwhile, the songs of the film are being recorded in the voices of Udit Narayan, Jojo and Shaan.
For Ashu Devgan, it is like a dream come true. “I’m happy that finally things are taking its shape. It is a sweet love story and is being made on a modest budget of Rs. 10 million. The shootings will commence from July 28 in Goa and Bombay.â€ÂÂ
About the cast, “I’m taking Karan Kapoor – the lead player in Shatrughan Sinha’s home production Mera Dil Lekhe Dekho to play the hero. A new girl is being finalised opposite him. Rakesh Bedi and Himani Shivpuri are also in the cast,†says Devgan.
