Located in Gujarat’s Patan District is a state of art Solar Park, created in a joint venture between Devgn, Mumbai based Roha Group and Film-maker Kumar Mangat.

"We believe that solar power is the future of industry. We are aiming to reach 500 mw within three-five years with a total investment of Rs 5,000 crore," said the 43 year old actor in a press statement.

The project started operating in December last year. The idea is to utilize solar powered generators for provision of electricity on sets.

Currently, Devgn is shooting for ‘Son of Sardar’. His upcoming new release is Priyadarshan’s ‘Tezz’.
