MUMBAI: Akshay Kumar will star in T-Series’ next film, despite the debacle of the company’s first venture, Humko Deewane Kar Gaye, which also featured him.
Publicist Alok Mathur confirms the development. He says, “He will be playing the lead in producer Bhushan Kumar’s next, which will be launched by the end of February. The film will be directed by Priyadarshan and will also feature Vidya Balan, Amisha Patel, Shiney Ahuja, Paresh Rawal and Rajpal Yadav.”
Mathur adds that the producer is yet to finalise the title of the film.
