MUMBAI: Amitabh Bachchan, who has been suffering from a stomach ailment since a while now, is to go to Los Angeles for more tests and treatment.
After recently undergoing a CT scan, the megastar has put all new assignments on hold till September. Even post ungergoing abdominal surgery the veteran actor has been experiencing severe pain.
During the dubbing for ‘Department’, Sr. Bachchan had written on his blog, "In the dark and stark confines of a dubbing theatre, Somewhere in the middle of my effort at 7 a.m., that sharp pain, which seems like someone slid a knife into you, returns."
Reportedly, his new projects will have to wait, this includes, Ram Gopal Varma’s ‘Sarkar 3’ with son Abhishek Bachchan, Rohit Shetty’s forthcoming with Ajay Devgn and Abhishek Bachchan, Shoojit Sircar’s next, and Kaun Banega Crorepati 6.
