MUMBAI: 28 years ago Bollywood megastar Amitabh Bachchan and south superstar Rajinikanth shared screen space  in T Rama Rao’s ‘Andha Kanoon’.

Being old friends, they last met during the special screen of ‘Robot’, in which daughter-in-law Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan was paired opposite Rajinikanth.

Sr. Bachchan who is now in Chennai for his performance today at the IPL 5 Opening Ceremony, was pleasantly surprised when his old friend visited him. "Rajinikanth pays me a visit in my room! Looks recovered from his recent illness… Thank God! Always a delight to spend time with him," he tweeted.

Both friends have also worked with each other in other movies like ‘Hum’ and ‘Geraftaar’.
