MUMBAI: An animated version of singer Himesh Reshammiya, christened HR2, has been created to help promote his film Aap Kaa Surroor-The Moviee.
The film is set to hit theatres on 29 June 2007.
HR2 caricatures Himesh with his trademark cap and stubble. This character will be shown in the video of Tera Mera Milna (the remix version). There will be two characters in the video around which a love story will be woven, it is learnt.
Reshammiya says the animated character is his and director Prashant Chadda’s brainchild, aimed at targeting children and adults alike. Not only will the animated characters feature in the video, but they will also make an appearance in the film.
The video will be aired on 10 June 2007, when HR2 will announce the release date of the movie, it is learnt.
