Another Corporate-like film to go on floors

MUMBAI: Director Aziz Chhapra (Dhamkee – The Extortion) is back after a hiatus of two and a half years and has started work on his second film titled Contract, which revolves around the coroporate world.

Chhapra says, “The film delves around the corporate world. It is about contract business through tenders wherein the company that quotes the lowest figure bags the contract. The film also portrays how in this business field, people are predisposed to use the services of wine, woman and wealth.”

But isn’t Contract on similar lines as Madhur Bhandarkar’s Corporate? “I have not seen Corporate and so I cannot comment on it. My film is budgeted at Rs 10 million (Rs 1 crore). It is a true story of a business entrepreneur who has undergone this tender – contract business. We are putting this real life into reel life. He does not want to be named but he is putting in the required finances. We are in the pre-production stages. We will be casting new faces and veteran actors too. I am co-producing the film too under the banner of K.A.C. Creations. It will be launched after Dassera,” he says.
