Anubhav Sinha embarks on animation film

MUMBAI: Before Anubhav Sinha’s next directorial venture Chase goes on floor, the director has commenced pre-production work on a full length 3D animation film titled Shloak. In fact, Sinha has even readied a one and a half minute promo of the film, which is being screened with the theatrical release of Cash.

Shloak is a story of a young boy’s journey from a common teenager to a dreaded warrior in 3000 BC India. We are planning to make the movie in multiple languages, English, Hindi, Tamil, Telegu and even some foreign languages,” says Anubhav Sinha.

The animation is being executed at Graphiti Studio, which has also worked on animation sequences in Sinha’s Cash. “Shloak will require 15 more months for production. Currently we are designing the characters, monuments and environment,” informs Graphiti CEO Tilak Shetty.

Shloak is being made on a budget of approximately Rs 200 million (Rs 20 crores). Sinha’s production company Seven Entertainment will produce the film.
