MUMBAI: Spice Entertainment and director Ashutosh Gowariker’s film on Buddha is currently on hold as they have not been able to find the right face to play the divine character.
The film is based on a script by David Ward and has Michel Shane and Bhuvan Lall attached as executive producers.
Lall said, “We feel the need to expand the search, as we know there is someone out there that would be perfect for this role, we have just not found him yet. We are still passionate about this project and are determined to get into production this year. But not without Buddha.”
