MUMBAI: Databazaar Media Ventures (DMV) a distributor that brings Bengali movies to North America, has signed up with the Web site Dingora.com to stream Bengali movies online.
Dingora.com has signed for three Databazaar movies; namely Dwando by Suman Ghosh, The Japanese Wife by Aparna Sen, and Jodi Ekdin (Life Is Magic) by Riingo.
The first day, first show Bengali film at Dingora is Dwando starring Soumitra Chatterjee, Ananya Chatterjee, Koushik Sen, Samrat Chakrabarty. The film, produced by Suman Ghosh Productions has a duration of 96 minutes.
Dingora.com aims to bring international, independent and short films to your home using the Internet. Movie lovers will not have to miss a film because it has not released in a near-by theater. With a good Internet connection, anyone can access films from anywhere around the world. Dingora.com allows distributors to release films on its site on the same date the film releases in theaters, so distance and location are no longer barriers to watching films from India.
