MUMBAI: AVM Productions’ movie Leader has been awarded a U certificate by the censor board as it cleared the censor formalities on 17 December, 2009.
Written and directed by Shekar Kammula, Leader is a political drama. The film stars debutant actor Rana Daggubati along with Richa Gangopadhay and Priya Anand.
“Leader is an honest film and represents the aspirations of each and every citizen’s dream of an ideal leader. We thank the censor board for passing the film without any major cuts and I hope the audience will appreciate the earnest attempt made by the film makers,” said Daggubati.
The Theatrical release date for the film is soon to be announced.
