MUMBAI: B4U Pictures will be releasing Sun Pictures’ Rajnikanth – Aishwarya Rai Bachchan’s Robot on 1 October.
Robot will be released worldwide and in three languages namely Tamil, Telegu and Hindi. B4U Pictures will be releasing the movie worldwide in Hindi.
The movie has been directed by Shankar. Robot tells the story of an Andro-Humanoid called Chiti (Rajnikanth) whose purpose was to protect society but when his creator simulates human emotions; will his initial functions be compromised?
Yuen Woo Ping, action choreographer for the Matrix and Kill Bill was the stunt coordinator and the makers of Jurassic Park, Predator, Terminator, Iron man and Avatar; Stanwinston Studios provided the Animatronics technology. In addition to this, 40% of the overall budget was spent on special effects.
