MUMBAI: Cinematographer Baba Azmi will soon be donning the director’s hat. Azmi, who has been busy working on the script of his directorial debut film, has finally completed it.
Now that the script is complete, Azmi is taking the next step forward and will soon begin casting for the film. According to Azmi, the film will be produced by Farhan Akthar’s Excel Entertainment.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Azmi said, "My script is finally ready and I am in the process of fine tuning it at the moment, after which I will be speaking to the actors."
However, he did not want to disclose any other details about the film. "I will let out all the details as soon as things are finalized and until then just pray that the film goes on floor soon," he said.
