MUMBAI: Balaji Telefilms Ltd has posted a net profit of Rs 188.170 million (Rs 18.82 crores) for the quarter ended December 31, 2007 as compared to Rs 217.701 million (Rs 21.77 crores) for the quarter ended 31 December, 2006.
The company’s total income has decreased from Rs 863.058 million (Rs 86.30 crores) for the quarter ended 31 December, 2006 to Rs 836.572 million (Rs 83.66 crores) for the quarter ended December 31, 2007.
Balaji Telefilms’ scrip on the BSE was down by 6.89 per cent (Rs 19.25) today and the company’s shares closed at Rs 260. The scrip touched a high of Rs 289.70 and a low of Rs 245.10 in intra-day trading today.
