MUMBAI: This weekend, from 28-29 September at 10 pm, Star Plus’ Amul Star Voice Of India will be packed with specials – Friday will present the jhoom barabar jhoom composer Shankar Ehsaan Loy, while Saturday will showcase director Sanjay Leela Bansali with his Saawariya debutants – Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor.
Shankar Ehsaan Loy will kick start the evening with their foot tapping performances .This will make everybody put their dancing shoes on, thus inspiring the finalists of Amul Star Voice of India to rock the evening. Ishmeet will bring back the romantic mood with his emotional melody ‘Kal Ho Na Ho’. Harshit will rock the judges when he will give an electrifying performance with the song ‘Rock n Roll Soniye’. Abhilasha will sing to the tune of the very peppy number ‘Chote Chote Shaheron Mein’. Sumitra will lend her voice to the song ‘Saiyaa re’. The last contestant Irfan will surely turn out to be the show stealer with his song ‘Dil Chahata Hai’ and Shankar will declare him to be the true performer.
On Saturday, Amul Star VOI will be graced by the trio of the awaited movie Saawariya –director Sanjay Leela Bansali, Ranbir Kapoor and Sonam Kapoor who are all geared up to groove with the contestants.
For all those who had been missing Prantik, Toshi, Abhaas, Priyani, Mirande & Arshpreet for along time will again be able to see their favorite singers perform on the stage of Amul Star Voice of India. These six eliminated contestants of Bemisaal 12 will be given the one and only opportunity to bounce back in this talent hunt show through the help of Wild Card. Abhaas gets to meet his dream man Sanjay Leela Bhansali who has been an ardent fan of Abhaas’s voice. Moreover the performance of Ranbir and Sonam Kapoor will set the environment for celebration.
Saturday being the Saawaria special will see all the contestants sing special numbers. The Kolkata lover boy Prantik Sur will dress up as a joker and will sing ‘Jaane Kahan Gaye Wo Din’ bagging high accolades from Sanjay Bansali. Arshpreet will sing ‘Der Na Ho Jaye’ for which Sanjay will appreciate her singing style. After waiting for a long time Abhaas ultimately will get the chance of singing in front of the director. He performs on the song ‘Satyam Shivam Sundaram’ and lives up to his expectations. Priyani with her song ‘Aa ab laut chale’ gets high applauds. The hot favorite finalist Toshi will sing ‘Chitthi ye’ and will impress all the celebrity judges as well.
