MUMBAI: Big 92.7 FM station, celebrated the first anniversary of its 1st FM station on the 24 September in Delhi. The network which is already present in 33 cities across India in less than one year started the journey in 2006 with Delhi being the first station to be launched.
As a part of celebration Bindya Naik, Aliya Bose, Molly Zimik and Gunjan Lakhani of Chak De! India fame met up with children from Udayan Care and Kutumb and cut a 100 kg birthday cake at PVR Saket on 24th September. Kids were given goodies and candies from Big 92.7 FM and Perfetti.
The week long celebration will include a lot of on-air and on-ground dhoom and masti. The radio station has stationed four vans at four hotspots across four zones. On reaching the on ground venue, the promoters check the sms and let the people take part in the contest. A huge box to be fabricated on a commercial vehicle, the box carries 100 small gift boxes gift wrapped (signifying chartbusters). Trivia is asked on the chartbuster box selected by the winner and if answered correctly prizes is given out.
