MUMBAI: From 20 August onwards Star Gold’s Monday World Premiere will feature movies across genres ranging from light hearted comedy blockbusters of recent time to high drama and action.
As comedy has been the flavour of the season, the first premiere will showcase Bheja Fry – a situational comedy that was appreciated by the masses. This will be followed by Darwaza Bandh Rakho on 27 August.
Star India vice president marketing Prem Kamath said, “With a heavy dose of movies lined up on weekends, we thought featuring offbeat hit movies on Mondays will be a great idea. The basic theme is to catch our audiences usually on an unexciting Monday. Also, Star Gold has been consistent in packaging movies keeping in the mind the convenience and also the timing which will create an interest to watch a movie.”
