BIG Pictures ties up with MGM & Hyde Park Entertainment

Mumbai: Big Pictures has tied up with MGM and Hyde Park Entertainment to present an Ashok Amritraj production – A James Dodson film, The Other End of the Line. The movie is slated to release on 31 October with 91 prints in theatres across North America.

With this film, BIG Pictures makes the first of its kind tie up, for the marketing/distribution of an American film, in North America. Big Pictures COO international film business Jawahar Sharma said, "Working with Amritraj and MGM has been a pleasure. This is truly an example of how film companies around the world are realizing how even in their home markets occasionally, they need to deploy special external resources to reach out to their target audience."

The Other End of the Line will use BIG Pictures’ and Reliance Entertainment’s extensive reach, to cater to a very diverse audience that not only craves Hollywood or Indian Cinema, but enjoys the perfect blend of both worlds.  

The Other End of the Line tells the story of a young Indian girl disguised as an American, played by Shriya Saran. Of how she travels to San Francisco for a romantic liaison, with a man she met through work.  But, upon her arrival, she decides to keep her true identity a secret, which threatens to dampen the sparks between herself and her potential beau. The film also stars Jesse Metcalfe as Shriya’s love interest along with acclaimed actors Anupam Kher, Sara Foster and Larry Miller in central roles.
