MUMBAI: The first feature film that stars the Deols together is already causing some emotional scenes on the sets of the film.
If those on the sets are to be believed, Bobby Deol became so emotional recently, in a scene where papa Dharmendra delivered a dialogue on familial bonding and then embraced his sons, that he broke down and was inconsolable for quite a while.
“Yes, it’s a fact that Bobby became so emotional that he started weeping and his father, Sunny and the entire unit could only watch. Later, he said that this was the best shot he had given in his life,” says the film’s director Anil Sharma.
Sunny Deol and younger brother Bobby have earlier worked together in Sunny Deol’s directorial debut, Dillagi. In fact, Sunny has also worked with his father Dharmendra, but this is the first time that the three of them will be seen together. Sources reveal that the emotional bonding of the brothers’ and their father was very apparent throughout, on the sets of the film.
“Apne is very close to my heart because I will be featuring with my dad and brother Bobby for the first time. Yes, Bobby has been very emotional. In fact, we are an emotional family. The film’s story is about a joint family with boxing as the background and I play the elder brother. We were all waiting for the right script and this film is just right,” says Sunny.
