MUMBAI: Ad film director Kunal Shivdasani’s debut feature film Hijack is nearing completion as the director is filming the last club song for the film with a Brazilian model Maria. The film stars Shiney Ahuja and Esha Deol. It is an action thriller.
"The club song which we are shooting currently is an important part of the film because it takes the plane hijack forward, and all characters in the plane are present in the club," says Shivdasani.
The song is choreographed by Remo and the film has music by Justin and Uday who have previously rendered music for ad films with Shivdasani.
In the film Ahuja (Vikram) essays the role of a ground maintenance engineer at the Chandigarh airport and Deol (Saira) is an airhostess in the hijacked plane. Incidentally Vikram’s daughter too is traveling in the plain, so the story revolves around how Vikram sneaks into the hijacked plane and rescues his daughter and other passengers with Saira’s help. The film has some mid-air action and stunts by Allan Amin.
Hijack is presented by Eros Entertainment. Shivdasani’s Aleya Motion Magic has produced this movie alongwith Dinesh Vijan. It is due for release in May/June.
