MUMBAI: This month Cartoon Network will premiere the Academy award winning animated movie – Shrek.
Based on the exciting escapades of Shrek, the green ogre is on a mission to rescue Princess Fiona, his home and other fairytale creatures from Lord Farquaad, the ruler of Duloc. To ensure that the film resonates with kids across India, VJ Cyrus Broacha has been roped in as the voice of the one of the key protagonists – Donkey – in the Hindi version of Shrek.
Slated to air in the movie block of the network, Cartoon Network Theatre on 17 June at 12 Noon, Shrek will be shown in four languages English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu, exclusively on Cartoon Network.

The month of June will also witness other exciting movie premieres on Cartoon Network such as – The Powerpuff Girls: The Movie; The Land before Time X: The Great Longneck Migration; and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Secret Origins.
