MUMBAI: Cinemax India, which currently has 36 screens in Mumbai alone, has opened its new four screen multiplex in Ghatkopar on 19 September.
The new set-up will open in R Odeon Mall at Ghatkopar and will have a seating capacity of 1,250 seats. Initially, Cinemax will open only two screens which comprises 341 seats in Screen 1 and 239 seats in Screen II. The other two screens will be operational soon.
The new multiplex opened with the screenings of Wanted and Dil Bole Hadippa. This property also has tax exemption benefit for the next five years. With this addition, Cinemax now has 25 theater properties with 78 screens and 21550 seats..
