Compact Disc, iMedia ink $ 19.80 million deal

MUMBAI: Compact Disc India has inked an animation outsourcing contract worth $ 19.80 million with iMedia Ventures Ltd.

This deal has been inked to animate a sci-fi, cum thriller film, titled 3000 BC. Internationally acclaimed actors will be lending their voices for this animated movie.

3000 BC, a science-fiction cum thriller film, revolves around the journey of a traveler who travels from the ancient period i.e. 3000 BC to the modern era, 2052 AD. The film bridges the gap between an untraceable past of the glorious world to the unseen future. This unique animated film is an attempt to show the continuity between the world’s history and its present, with a surreal depiction of how the realm of the past still hold true in modern times.

With the forging of this deal, CDI will make this 3D animation film over a time frame of 21 months, at their state-of-the-art studio which is being set up at the KINFRA SEZ, Trivandrum.
