MUMBAI: Compact Disc India is in talks with three major Hollywood actors to provide voice-overs in its animation film Eternal Love, which revolves around the Taj Mahal.
"We are in talks with three actors who are already working with us in some capacity but nothing has been finalized as yet. The movie is targeted at the international audiences and hence voice-over by Hollywood actors made perfect sense," Compact Disc India managing director Suresh Kumar told Businessofcinema.com.
Compact Disc India has signed Javed Siddiqi to write the story, screenplay and dialogues for Eternal Love. Rahat Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan will compose the music of the film. The director of the movie has not yet been decided as yet.
CDI has also entered into an agreement with AIM listed Intandem Films. The company will act as an executive producer and worldwide sales company for Eternal Love. CDI has also appointed Paul Springer as the executive producer of the movie.
Intandem Films has been responsible for 25 films including Heartbreakers starring Gene Hackman, Jennifer Love Hewitt and Sigorney Weaver and the comedy How To Lose Friends and Alienate People starring Simon Pegg, Kirsten Dunst, Megan Fox and Jeff Bridges.
On the other hand, Springer’s background includes performance, development and production roles on films including Star Wars, Little Shop of Horrors, Who Framed Roger Rabbit amongst others.
This animation feature film is slated to be released in December 2009 and is being made on a budget of $15.70 million.
