MUMBAI: Veteran Indian producer Surendra Kapoor will be honoured with the Dada Saheb Phalke Academy for the senior most producer of India film industry.
The ceremony will take place at Bhaidas Hall on 4 May 2009.
He started his career as an assistant director to K Asif in Mughle-E-Azam. Some of his hits include Ponga Pandit, Woh Saat Din, Hum Paanch, Phool Khile Hain Gulshan Gulshan, Judaai, Mr. India, Pukar, No Entry among others.
