Mumbai: International Film and Television Club, in association with Asian Academy of Film & Television, recently hosted an exhibition of paintings of the Nationally acclaimed artist and muralist Deepa Seth Bhando at the Marwah Films and Video Studios in Noida.
The exhibition was inaugurated by ace Bollywood personality Wg. Cdr. A S Bedi with the Former President of Noida entrepreneurs association and managing editor, models and trends, Anoop Bhandari as another guest of honour.
Wg. Cdr. Bedi complimented the passionate zeal of IFTC chairperson, Prof Sandeep Marwah, for promoting all forms of art at the first available opportunity and showered the well deserved praise Deepa’s speaking landscapes of the Himalayas so opulently inviting. Bhandari compared the exhibition to a book and each painting to the individual article of the magazine.
The theme of the exhibition, exclaimed Deepa, "Was to highlight the beauty and mystiques of the giant Himalayas." In all, about a dozen and a half of some of Deepa’s best paintings were up on the walls for this show that also became a launch pad for study of various media courses by the 59th batch of AAFT opened recently.
