MUMBAI: A three-day-long festival of movies by veteran filmmaker B R Chopra is going to be held in Delhi from 18 April.
A special tribute is being given to Chopra, whose 94th birthday falls on 22 April, with the screening of nine of his films by the Film and Television Producers Guild of India as part of its initiative "Guild Greats".
Chopra along with his producer – director son Ravi Chopra, actor Raj Babbar, filmmakers Basu Chatterji, Bobby Bedi and Raj Tilak are expected to attend the opening ceremony.
The first film to be screened will be Insaaf Ka Tarazu.
Co-organised by ASSOCHAM, the other films to be shown are Hamraaz, Waqt, Ittefaq, Baghban, Gumraah, Nikaah, Naya Daur and Chhoti Si Baat.
