Mumbai: Walt Disney Company has acquired the overseas home video rights of Aamir Khan’s Taare Zameen Par from UTV Motion Pictures.
Disney will distribute the home video of the film in the US, UK, Canada and Australia markets.
While refusing to divulge the size of the deal, UTV Motion Pictures CEO Siddharth Roy Kapoor tells Businessofcinema.com, "We have sold the home video rights of Taare Zameen Par to Walt Disney for the US, UK, Canada and the Australian market."
The official home video of Taare Zameen Par will have a special commentary by Aamir Khan on the making of the film, behind-the-scenes, copy of the paintings from the movie by Darsheel and Aamir amongst a host of other things.
UTV distributed Taare Zameen Par in the overseas.
