Dostana is in great demand at cinemas, especially after the long and successful run of movies like Golmaal Returns and Fashion; and after the debacle of EMI last week.
The paid previews of Dostana for Thursday night are already running houseful across most multiplexes and there is a demand to increase the number of paid preview shows. Cinemax Versova is hosting four paid previews on Thursday night.
Also, advance booking of the movie till Sunday is encouraging in metros with a lot of bulk corporate bookings. PVR Metropolitan is screening a record number of 22 shows daily.
The movie released on Wednesday in the UAE and has opened well there.
Dostana is produced by Karan Johar, and stars Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham and Priyanka Chopra. It is directed by debutant Tarun Mansukhani.
