Elecom-Fiesta ready animation flick on ants

MUMBAI: After the commercial success of recent Indian animation films like Hanuman and My Friend Ganesha, Elecom-Fiesta Entertainment has joined the bandwagon and is ready with it’s ani-flick Cheenti Cheenti Bang Bang.
This 80 minutes long film, which seems to draw on the title of 1964 children’s book by Bond-creator Ian Fleming’s – Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, (which later inspired the 1968 film by the same name) is neither a copy nor an inspired version of it. It is an entirely different story of two Kingdoms of Ants at loggerheads with each other.

However, it is not a battle story altogether. There is a romantic twist too, as the Prince and Princess of warring kingdoms fall in love. Cheenti Cheenti Bang Bang works on the premise that – War Never Pays.

This animation flick features the voices of Indian actors like Ashish Vidyarthi, Mahesh Manjrekar, Asrani and Anjan Srivastva.
Cheenti Cheenti Bang Bang, marks the coming together of Elecom Toon and Fiesta Entertainment. Elecom Toon is a part of $ 74 million Elecom group based in Kolkatta whose work has been well received by all including Walt Disney. Fiesta is Mumbai based complete post production facility, which in last three years has been involved in post production of major blockbusters like Munna Bhai MBBS, Koi Mil Gaya, Iqbaal and Murder amongst others. Cheenti Cheenti Bang Bang is their maiden foray into film production.
The animation work of Cheenti Cheenti Bang Bang is being handled by director and chief animator Niloy. Nida Fazli’s lyrics in the film find voices of Shaan, Shreya Ghosal, Kunal Ganjawala, Sudesh Bhosle and Rashid Khan. The music scored by Jeet has shades of patriotism, fun, love, sadness, classics and DJ mix.
