MUMBAI: The distribution rights of K Sera Sera’s Ek – The Power of One, which stars Nana Patekar and Bobby Deol have been sold to Zee and Eros International. The film is slated to release in mid-November.
The film is directed by Sangeeth Sivan.
The all India distribution rights are acquired by the Zee Group, while overseas will be handled by Eros International. Confirming the same to Businessofcinema.com, director Sangeeth Sivan says, “The total budget of the film went up to Rs 110 – 120 million (Rs 11 – 12 crores) and the aggregate amount for distribution is around Rs 180 million (Rs 18 crores).”
The film is about an orphan turned assassin who somehow gets wrongly accused of a politician’s murder and the mystery unfolds. The assassin is played by Bobby Deol while Nana Patekar will be seen essaying the police inspector’s character.
