MUMBAI: BAG Films & Media Ltd has received permission for uplinking and downlinking of forthcoming news and current affairs channels from the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
The two channels have been named NEWS24 and BIZ24 and will fall under the company’s subsidiary B.A.G Newsline Network Pvt Ltd.
BAG Films & Media Ltd managing director Anurradha Prasad said, “It has always been our vision to establish ourselves in the Broadcasting arena and this is another milestone towards realizing the visions.”
The company had also recently received the license for its entertainment and glamour and lifestyle channels E24 and Life24 respectively.
