MUMBAI: Excel Entertainment’s forthcoming thriller – Karthik Calling Karthik – is slated to go on floors from the first week of April.
The movie stars Farhan Akhtar, Deepika Padukone and Shefali Shah. It is directed by Vijay Lalwani.
Speaking to Businessofcinema.com, Deepika says, “I start shooting for Karthik Calling Karthik on 4 April. However the first schedule starts on 1 April, but I think I may be the only one landing up on the sets and this will be a smart way to play an April Fool’s prank on me. But my scenes are scheduled on 4 April.”
Apart from Karthik Calling Karthik, Excel Entertainment is also producing films like The Voice from the Sky and the sequel of Don, which will be directed by Farhan Akhtar.
