MTS inks VOD deal with Paramount Pictures for movies

MUMBAI: MTS Allstream Inc. has inked a multi-year agreement with Paramount Pictures Corporation to deliver movies on MTS Video on Demand.

MTS TV customers can enjoy recent Paramount releases of DreamWorks titles such as Tropic Thunder and Eagle Eye, and DreamWorks Animation’s Kung Fu Panda, as well as critically acclaimed titles like the upcoming The Curious Case of Benjamin Button and Revolutionary Road, all through the convenience of MTS VOD.

MTS VOD gives customers a great selection of movie titles and other programs with the ability to watch them as many times as they want, whenever they want, within a 24-hour period. MTS VOD also allows customers to pause, rewind and fast-forward their movies at their convenience.

"The extraordinary selection of Paramount’s movies and programs is a great addition to MTS TV’s already impressive selection of entertainment," said MTS Allstream vice-president Marketing Stan Kurtas. "Our focus has been, and always will be, on the customer’s experience, and we are thrilled to add Paramount to MTS TV. We hope that our customers will enjoy the vast range of new movie titles on MTS VOD."

"We are pleased to have concluded this arrangement with MTS Allstream, and we look forward to a successful relationship offering video-on-demand content in Canada," said  Paramount Pictures Worldwide Television Distribution president Hal Richardson.
