Out of the four screens, two will be 18980 mm in width while the other two will be 16760 mm in width. With the launch of Fame Dahisar, the company hopes to create its niche in the exhibition market by introducing this concept in most of its forthcoming projects as well.

Shringar Cinemas managing director Shravan Shroff said, “There is a lot of exponential growth happening in our industry, primarily because the economy is on the roar. Dahisar is an important market for us as the disposable incomes of the people has increased by leaps and bounds and they prefer to spend extra bucks to go to multiplexes as compared to normal theatres. As far as our property at Dahisar is concerned, we are confident that the introduction of a super size screens will definitely bring about a change in the whole Multiplex Experience, and start a new trend in India.”

Following the launch of the Dahisar property, Shringar will make its foray in Bangalore in mid-September with the launch of Fame Lido, a four-screen, 1,029-seat multiplex. The second property, Fame Shankarnag Symphony, a leased single-screen theatre, would be operational by the end of the year.
