MUMBAI:Two years ago, during the 2010 Summer US tour, Shreya Ghoshal received a rare honour from the State of Ohio – Governor Ted Strickland issued a proclamation declaring June 26 as ‘Shreya Ghoshal Day’.

"I am extremely honoured and very overwhelmed right now.This is a moment I will never forget. 26th june became the Shreya Ghoshal day, its a big honour for me. I feel extremely touched," the singer had quoted then. 

Today, observing this day, the singer has been receiving messages from all her well wishers and fan on Twitter. Overwhelmed, Ghoshal tweeted, "honoured, humbled and feeling totally loved:) thank u:)"
