MUMBAI: Actor Fardeen Khan has shed his romantic image to do something that his father excelled in. In the recently released Acid Factory, the actor has come of age and looks the most convincing on screen.
In Acid Factory, an action thriller, Fardeen plays the role of an undercover cop. Perhaps for the first time, Fardeen looked the son of Feroz Khan on screen doing away with his romantic looks and comic antics. An industry watcher says, "Fardeen has upped his stakes by doing Acid Factory. He stands out with his performance and the lean mean role shot in such a slick manner has only added to his charisma. He has the same cockiness in his stride which Khan saab had.”
Fardeen is out of the country attending to his back injury and has not been able to receive any of the compliments. However, prior to his departure, Fardeen had told Businessofcinema.com, "I have many releases this year, but I am most confident of my role in Acid Factory. I have worked with my director earlier and knew what he is capable of."
Acid Factory released across theatres on Friday and coming up next week is another film for Khan – Rohit Shetty’s All The Best.
