MUMBAI: Arjun Rampal with ex-supermodel wife Mehr, has received an exclusive invitation from the 65th Cannes International Film Festival to attend its opening night.
As the brand ambassador of liquor brand Chivas Regal, Arjun will promote the credo of Live with Chivalry between May 16-27.
"It is an absolute honour to walk the haloed red carpet with the international superstars and filmmakers at the Cannes Film Festival and I am happy to represent Chivas at this global event," said the 39 year old.
Five Indian films are set to be screened at Cannes this year – Ashim Ahluwalia’s ‘Miss Lovely’, Anurag Kashyap’s ‘Peddlers’, ‘Gangs of Wasseypur’ – Part I & Part II and Uday Shankar’s 1948 classic ‘Kalpana’. Other Bollywood celebrities likely to attend are Aishwarya Rai-Bachchan, Mallika Sherawat, Bipasha Basu.
