MUMBAI: Writer-producer-director Ashok Kumar Nanda’s next film, Rivaaz is set to hit screens in September 2007.

We have shot the entire film in Wai village, near Panchgani. The film has been moderately budgeted at around Rs 15 million (Rs 1.5 crore) and in a semi-commercial format. It will be screened at the New York International Film Festival that begins on 19 July. It has also been recommended for the Toronto International Film Festival.”
Deepti Naval plays the main protagonist in the film. Nanda’s first feature film was Hum Tum Aur Mom, released in 2005. Rivaaz is his second film and apart from Naval, it also stars Meghna Naidu, Rajendra Gupta and others. Newcomers Vijaya Kamat from and Sandeep Jain are the film’s producers.
